COFIDEC was established in 17th, july 1987 , the name first is import-export of formerly known as Seafoods Joint Venture Duyen Hai Co, Cofidec was activitied in 2 field: import-export and cuture maritime products from 1987 to 1992
From january 1993 to now, Cofidec has transformed its operating mechanism into a 100% state-owned enterprise, belong to the Saigon Trading group (SATRA group) to decide to People's committee Ho Chi Minh city
The experience activities in the maritime department :
When the company has established up to now, we have had over 20 years of experience in fisheries activities in general and more than 15 years of operations in the field of processing exported frozen aquatic products, Our first maritime products processing factory built in the 1991 also is 1 in 10 of first unit produce and export freeze fisheries products
The company currently focus on maintaining and improving frozen seafoods & food stuffs products, besides Focus on developing frozen agricultural produces and food stuffs products for the local market
